Q. Would a private dentist look at the dental treatment carried out abroad?

Q. Why us?
We have vetted the dentists and their practices individually to make sure they comply with the Turkish legislations and are able to offer insured treatment to patients abroad. We have also agreed fixed prices with the clinics, which mean you will not be taken advantage of and will always get the best prices available.
Q. Why Turkey?
Turkey is up to 70% cheaper than the UK for dental treatments. The brands and products are the same as what is used in the UK and throughout the world. The dentists have years of experience in their preferred fields. It is also an opportunity to explore beautiful Turkey and the warm climate.
Q. What will be included in the treatment?
Depending on the package you select the treatment can include transfers and accommodation, all packages will be inclusive of the agreed treatment, consultation(s) and x-rays.
Q. How much will it cost?
All packages are tailored around your specific needs/requirements once these are discussed in the free consultations, we will then be able to give you a price. You can however expect savings of up to 70% in comparison to prices in the UK.
Q. Will I have to pay any additional costs?
No, we will cost the treatment required prior to giving you a tailored quote. If x-rays cannot be provided before and any additional treatment is required (root canals, etc.), the dentist will let you know prior to the treatment being carried out.
Q. Who will be carrying out my treatment and what qualifications do they have?
The dentists are registered with the Turkish Dental Association (TDB). The TDB is a professional and regulatory body for dentistry in Turkey. They deal with all dental practises and ensure that their high standards are met. The procedure, hygiene and sterilisation protocols are all pre-approved by the TDB.
Q. Will the dental team speak English? If not, will you provide a translator on the day of the procedure?
The dental clinics have qualified English, German, Russian and French speaking staff to ensure the patient do not have any problems in communicating. We understand this is essential to completing the procedure efficiently by having the communication channels open.
Q. Do you have any references or testimonials from previous patients?
Once you have selected the clinic of your choice from our vetted dental clinics, we will introduce you to the fluent-English speaking (or your preferred language) representative of the dental clinic. Once this is done, the representative will be further able to help any of your questions/queries and provide testimonials.
Q. If there are any complications and I need further treatment, is this included in the initial cost?
Yes, if any issues arise during the guarantee period (this will vary depending on the dental treatment you have had carried out) the clinics will provide transfers and remedial work at no cost to you. However certain things can invalidate your guarantee, i.e., bad oral hygiene, accidents etc. (A full list of exclusions will be provided by your chosen clinic.
Q. Do you have insurance to cover this procedure?
Yes, all our clinics have their own insurance policies to cover the dental treatment carried out. As part of your agreement with us you will also be required to take out medical travel insurance prior to traveling.
Q. Do you have a complaints system in place? Can I see a copy of it?

Q. Who can I contact for advice after the treatment?
You will be assigned a representative for your chosen clinic and you will be able to liaise with this person whenever you may require.
Q. How long do implants last?
An implant is made to last a lifetime, this primarily depends on your oral hygiene and care for the implants.
Q. How long will it take to complete the procedure?
The implants need to be over two trips with 2-6 months between the treatments. The first trip can be 5-7 days for the implants and temporary veneers to be fitted. The second trip can again be for 5-7 days to place the permanent veneers once the implants are settled.
Q. What’s the recovery time once treatment is completed?
The average healing time for an implant is anything between 2 to 6 months this due the implant settling in the gum before the final veneer is placed. Recovery times will vary based on the initial health of the gum and bone. As well as the amount of dental implants and how the recovery process is managed by the individual patient.
Q. What does all on 4, 5, 6 and 8 mean?
Depending on the health of the gums a prosthetic dental arch can be secured with either 4, 5, 6 or 8 implants. The more implants you opt for the stronger and more stable the arch will be which will result in a longer lasting and comfortable smile.
Q. Which brands of implants are used?
The brands that are used by the clinics are known and used globally. We would not recommend low-range implants which is why we only deal with brands like Straumann, Hiossen and Astra.
Q. Is the work guaranteed?
A dental implant can carry 10 years to a lifetime guarantee depending on the brand chosen.
Q. How long do veneers last?
The veneer lasts up to 20 years, this primarily depends on your oral hygiene and care for the veneers.
Q. How long will it take to complete the procedure?
The procedure will be completed in one trip which can be between 5 and 7 days.
Q. What’s the recovery time once treatment is completed?
The recovery time for a veneer is approximately take 2 weeks which will depends on how the recovery process is managed by the individual patient. After this time the bite will become more comfortable, before this your mouth and gums are likely to be sore and uncomfortable.
Q. Which brands of veneers are used?
The brands used by the clinics for veneers is Emax and Zirconium which are known and used globally.
Q. Is the work guaranteed?
The veneers will come with a minimum of 5 years guarantee depending on the brand/material chosen by you.
Q. Do veneers ruin your teeth?
